Overview of Arturia’s Analog Lab V
Arturia’s Analog Lab V is a new all-in-one keyboard and synth instrument that comes loaded with diverse range of sounds, designed to elevate your music production process. Taking over from its predecessor, Analog Lab, the new version includes intriguing sounds of pianos, organs, samplers, tapes, and string machines unearthed from the V Collection instruments.
The design is user-friendly, prioritizing flawless browsing, efficient preset management features and an interactive user experience. You can easily navigate through the software in standalone mode or within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Arturia has managed to create a versatile software that integrates well with other controllers on the market, including their own MiniLab and KeyLab controller range.
Analog Lab V is organized into three primary sections: Library, Studio and Stage. In the library section, you can easily navigate and organize the myriad of sounds divided into Instrument, Types, Packs and Designers sections. The Studio section presents a detailed sound browsing structure with general categories such as instruments types or styles.
You can expand your results using tags or subcategories based on your requirements. Arturia provides you with the flexibility to create your own personal library, featuring your own Favorite presets, recently played sounds and more.
The software is well-equipped to support hardware integration and allows for ease of use on the Arturia’s KeyLab MkII. Detailed sound and effects editing controls at your fingertips provide an opportunity to customize and personalize your sound. You can play two sounds simultaneously, control effect settings while playing, fine-tune sounds using presets, and adjust individual volume levels.
The Studio view gives a more detailed view of all the effects and parts controls. It allows user to pick effects for sections A and B, with options for dynamic, spatial, and modulation effects. Here, you can also define the individual volumes and their panning. The Master channel allows you to equalize particular frequencies of the final signal and adjust its overall volume.
The Playlist feature is improved to enhance your workflow. It allows you to create songs and attach favorite sounds to them. The Stage view also caters to live performances where every aspect of it can be managed including loading of playlists, viewing songs and their presets among others.
